This course is a study of the specific skills and techniques utilized by middle grades and secondary teachers of English. With an included emphasis on understanding and using academic language across the curriculum, teacher candidates will study the interrelatedness of reading, writing, speaking and listening, and will develop the ability to use these processes to help students learn subject matter in different content areas.
