This course provides educators with a theoretical foundation and practical strategies needed to teach writing to English Learners across all grade levels and content areas. Educators will learn how to implement effective, scaffolded instruction to meet the diverse needs of English Learners throughout the writing process, as well as exploring language, vocabulary, and syntax barriers they must overcome. This is a required course for the ESL endorsement program.
