The Special Education Learning Behavior Specialist 1 (LBS1) Endorsement program prepares both currently licensed teachers and preservice candidates working toward initial licensure to serve as classroom teachers for students with disabilities. The program builds the knowledge, skills, and professional dispositions needed to support learners ages 5–21 with high- and low-incidence disabilities across diverse educational settings, with a strong emphasis on ensuring access to and success in the general education curriculum.
