IC 222: TRIO: From College to Career II

Credits 1

This course will explore opportunities for students to engage in hands-on learning that is aligned with creating education and work-based settings that are supportive, positive, identity-safe, and inclusive by allowing students to apply their knowledge and skills, strengthen their employability skills, and access career exploration opportunities.

The Spring semester course is designed to create an environment where students have the opportunity to discuss amongst one another their personal experiences within their internships and/or job shadow and career exploration activities. These small group discussions, combined with continued learning through guest speakers and hands-on activities, create a holistic and safe learning environment for students to continue learning and developing fundamental skills for post-graduation.
