Internship or Research Experience
An internship or research experience (2-4 credits) that allows students to gain experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion with the academic component having students apply relevant texts, topics, and theories to their practical work. For example, the Impact Internship Program, offered through the Center for Engagement, Inclusion, and Belonging Office, offers flexible credit hours and fulfills this requirement. Projects should be approved by the GWS committee.
