The major will consist of 45 credit hours, including 12 hours of interdisciplinary preparatory courses, 21 hours of core neuroscience courses, and 12 hours of interdisciplinary neuroscience electives spread across disciplines.
A student wishing to double major in Neuroscience and another field must have a minimum of 33 credits of non-duplicated coursework for the Neuroscience Major.
A student wishing to pursue a minor in Psychology must have 12 credits of non-duplicated coursework in the minor field.
Interdisciplinary Preparatory Courses
Students must take three 100-level courses - one from Psychology, one from Biology, and one from Chemistry, Computer Science or Physics.

Experiential Learning
Student must complete one-credit hour of experiential learning. Student can choose between PS 463 Internship or PS 465 Independent Research.
