A major in mechanical engineering consists of 86 credit hours with a grade of ‘C–‘ or better in the required majors courses. This may be achieved by taking the core engineering requirements along with a selected concentration. Moreover, students whose level of language participation necessitates their enrollment in a world language course at the 101 level will have successfully completed the world language requirement upon completion of this course.
